Kintsugi is the Japanese art process that repairs broken objects with gold. A beautiful representation of how we can choose to embrace our struggles and flaws; repairing them with light and love. Sometimes we become more beautiful for having been broken. Imperfection lets the light in.
Celebrating the beauty in imperfection. When we first learned of the history and art process of 'Kintsugi', we were immediately inspired to create the "Broken Open" collection. The process of Kintsugi is the foundation of the collection. Being broken is not the end - it's the beginning of a path of transformation and growth to becoming a stronger person.
